Strong Microbials SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ is a blend of probiotic bacteria and scientifically tested to increase the health of your honeybees.

Just like us, bees can suffer from a lack of good bacteria in their gut flora. This can happen when too much honey is taken from the hive, or not enough nutrition is put back in.

Strong Microbials SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ is a natural bee probiotic that fixes them right up. Think of it like that little white probiotic milk bottle, full of the good stuff! Direct Fed Microbial (DFM) populates your bees’ intestines with healthy bacteria to restore microbial flora. Better digestion means healthier bees. 

SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ contains a combination of Lactic Acid Bacteria as well as beneficial Bacillus spp., yeast and enzymes used to prevent disease in your bees and their brood.

What is it?

SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ is a Direct Fed Microbial formula that provides beneficial healthy bacteria to the bee’s digestive tract. SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ is a safe formulation that stimulates your bee’s health, digestion, and provides additional benefits.

When to use SuperDFM®– HoneyBee™

Feed SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ to your bees every 60 days. SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™
is essential for migratory moves and may be used during periods when supplemental feeding is necessary.

Why use it?

The honeybee’s microbiome and immunity deteriorate with exposure to pesticides and antibiotics. SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ helps stimulate immunity to be ready for pathogen challenges. Beneficial bacteria also directly inhibit pathogens and improve nutrient digestibility through secondary metabolites and enzymes, for survival when bees can be especially vulnerable.

How to use SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™

  • Application rate: Sprinkle dry SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ on top bars of the brood of the chamber. 1 tablespoon (10g) per hive, per application.
  • Use SuperDFM®- HoneyBee™ straight from the package.
  • Always FEED DRY. For best outcome do NOT mix syrup or pollen patty.
  • Do NOT use with antibiotics.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. Stable for
  • 5 years at room temperature.
